Papamoa Support Centre & Kauri Centre
Papamoa Community Support centre is a community social service agency which has been operating in the Papamoa area since 1993.  Papamoa is an area near Tauranga, experiencing rapid growth from being a small seaside town to a busy suburb of 16,000 people, projected to develop to a population of at least 30,000.

Services are provided by 10 staff, most of whom are part time.  Services include Budget Advice, Family Support, Youth Services, Seniors Support, Counselling, as well as information and advice.  Our primary goal is to assist people to take positive action in their lives by providing expertise, support, resources and information.

A number of different agencies and organisations also use this facility to provide services to the community.  These include an Asthma Clinic, Probation, Alcoholics Anonymous, Problem Gambling, ACC, Literacy and Language, Relationship Services, Mental Health services, Women’s’ Refuge, Police, and private practitioners (eg counsellors, psychologists).
