Beachaven Community House is a place for people of all ages to gather and make new friends. Papamoa is a fast growing community where most people are new to the area. This can often leave people feeling isolated and alone. Beachaven has a number of groups that anyone can attend. These include playgroups, craft groups for kids and adults, music group, recreation group, walking group and we also have monthly seniors’ luncheon and a Big Day Out, this is an educational outing that is usually attended by seniors and the young mums and their kids. We also offer counselling, and advocacy, this include supporting people in meetings such as WINZ or ACC, it can be guiding someone to the agency that best supports them or it could be just to sit and have a cuppa. Our mission is: "To provide fellowship and friendship to the people of Papamoa East.
